Вера: Ты же знаешь, мне всё интересно. Так как насчёт Петергофа? Погуляем по парку! Фонтаны, залив, солнце! Едем?

Иван: Ну ладно, тогда в Петергоф! Хочется за город, на свежий воздух! Хорошо, тогда часов в 10 у меня! Поедем на машине. А если будет дождь, пойдём на выставку!

Вера: Договорились! Тогда посмотрю Малевича ещё раз! Обожаю русский авангард!

Comments on the dialogue

Ivan:

Завтра я иду в Русский (музей) на выставку Малевича.

Have you already noticed that in the colloquial speech we can omit some words like музей, балет, опера, спектакль, фильм, saying only their titles? In this phrase as well we don’t actually use the word «музей». For those who live in Saint Petersburg it’s clear that we’re talking about the Russian museum.

By the way, the verb идти is also used in the constructions

Vera invites Ivan:

Может, лучше поедем в Петергоф?

Peterhof Петергоф or Петродворец is a small town on the outskirts of Saint Petersburg near the Gulf of Finland where on the orders of Peter the Great magnificent parks with beautiful palaces and amazing fountains were laid out.
Vera says:

Погуляем по парку!

This is a construction with the preposition по + the Dative case

Ну ладно, тогда в Петергоф!

When we agree with someone we often say: «ладно» = «хорошо» = «я согласен». But be careful, you can’t say «ладно» to your professor or your boss! Use this little word when talking to your mum or a friend!

Vera replies to Ivan:

Договорились!

It’s the Past tense of the verb договориться — to agree. We also use this verb a lot in the informal speech.

Vera:

Тогда посмотрюМалевича ещё раз! Обожаю русский авангард!
