2The verb быть in the Past tense
Do you remember that we don’t use the verb “to be” in the Present tense:
Я в рестора не. — I am in a restaurant.
But we do use it in the Past tense:
Я был(а ) в рестора не. — I was in a restaurant.
Мы бы ли в рестора не. — We were in a restaurant.
